Deepening knowledge. Defining direction. Preparing for the future.
A structured journey that helps students deepen understanding, develop independence, make informed choices and prepare confidently for life beyond school. As a CBSE-affiliated school, our programme is aligned with the CBSE curriculum, the NCERT learning framework and the vision of NEP 2020.
Classes IX–X and Classes XI–XII are not one long block. The first builds depth and discipline across a broad curriculum; the second narrows to a specialisation and asks the student to own it.
A strong academic foundation across the full breadth of the curriculum, while preparing for the CBSE Board Examination.
Students are pushed to understand the “why” and “how” behind a concept rather than rely on memorisation.
Classroom tasks require applying concepts to unfamiliar and real-life situations.
Laboratory work, projects, demonstrations, field-based activities and practical tasks connect the syllabus to the world.
Presentations, group activities, debates and peer learning build confidence alongside content.
Smart classrooms, digital resources, computer facilities, Google Workspace and the ATAL Lab.
Subjects: the prescribed CBSE academic subjects, with opportunities for Art Education, Health & Physical Education and Work Experience as applicable under the CBSE framework. Language and other options are offered per the school's approved subject structure for the session.
A period of academic specialisation and preparation for higher education and future careers, with students guided to choose on the basis of interest, ability and aspiration.
The senior secondary curriculum allows students to pursue languages alongside academic and/or skill-based electives, as permitted within the CBSE scheme of studies. Subjects chosen in Class XI are continued in Class XII, and CBSE prescribes a minimum of five subjects for the senior secondary course, subject to the applicable scheme.
Our teachers work through a deliberate blend of approaches, chosen to suit the subject and the stage of the course.
Assessment here is designed to measure not only what students know, but how well they understand and apply their learning. Students receive regular feedback, so assessment informs teaching rather than merely closing a chapter.
School-based + board framework
For Class IX, the CBSE assessment framework follows the broad pattern of the Class X Board Examination, with the prescribed grading structure.
Specialisation + board preparation
Assessment weightings, internal assessment components and examination patterns are followed as notified by CBSE for the applicable academic session and subject, and are not fixed by the school.

With approximately 130 qualified teachers, activity coaches and a school counsellor, MPS International aims to provide a safe, caring and enriching environment that supports the all-round development of its students.
Teachers track progress subject by subject and work with students on study habits, revision and examination technique.
A school counsellor is available to students through the pressures of the senior years.
Career awareness and guidance form part of the senior secondary learning environment, supporting informed subject and pathway choices.
The moves into Class IX and into Class XI are handled deliberately, with guidance on the change in demand and in method.
Parents stay informed on progress and areas needing attention through the school's established communication systems.
The demand rises in depth and in accountability. Learning focuses on conceptual clarity, competency development and application to unfamiliar situations, and for Class IX the assessment framework follows the broad pattern of the Class X Board Examination with the prescribed grading structure.
Students are guided to choose on the basis of interest, ability, aspiration and intended pathway, within the school's approved CBSE subject combinations. Subjects taken in Class XI continue into Class XII, and CBSE prescribes a minimum of five subjects.
Both. Laboratory work, projects, research assignments, field-based activities and presentations are part of the programme, supported by dedicated Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Combined Science and Language laboratories and the ATAL Lab.
Responsible use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies is an explicit emphasis of the senior secondary environment. The objective is not to make students dependent on technology, but to help them become confident, ethical and responsible users and creators of it.
Academic mentoring by subject teachers, access to a school counsellor, career awareness and guidance, and regular communication with parents about progress and areas needing attention.
We prepare students not merely for examinations, but for the opportunities, responsibilities and challenges beyond school: higher education, professional pathways, competitive environments, responsible citizenship and a lifetime of learning in a changing world.
