Two phases, two different jobs
Classes IX–X and Classes XI–XII are not one long block. The first builds depth and discipline across a broad curriculum; the second narrows to a specialisation and asks the student to own it.

How choice works
The senior secondary curriculum allows students to pursue languages alongside academic and/or skill-based electives, as permitted within the CBSE scheme of studies. Subjects chosen in Class XI are continued in Class XII, and CBSE prescribes a minimum of five subjects for the senior secondary course, subject to the applicable scheme.

How does Class IX differ from Class VIII?
The demand rises in depth and in accountability. Learning focuses on conceptual clarity, competency development and application to unfamiliar situations, and for Class IX the assessment framework follows the broad pattern of the Class X Board Examination with the prescribed grading structure.
How are Class XI subject choices decided?
Students are guided to choose on the basis of interest, ability, aspiration and intended pathway, within the school's approved CBSE subject combinations. Subjects taken in Class XI continue into Class XII, and CBSE prescribes a minimum of five subjects.
Is there practical and project work, or only theory?
Both. Laboratory work, projects, research assignments, field-based activities and presentations are part of the programme, supported by dedicated Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Combined Science and Language laboratories and the ATAL Lab.
What does the school say about AI?
Responsible use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies is an explicit emphasis of the senior secondary environment. The objective is not to make students dependent on technology, but to help them become confident, ethical and responsible users and creators of it.
What support exists during the board years?
Academic mentoring by subject teachers, access to a school counsellor, career awareness and guidance, and regular communication with parents about progress and areas needing attention.
